The Ayodhya tour ( 2 or 3 Nights ):

Explore Ayodhya’s cultural and religious heritage on our day tour. Meet Lord Ram at his Janmabhoomi ( birthplace ).  An informed guide will give you the colorful Ram & Sita story in their very abode.

Embark on a tour of Ayodhya to witness the unraveling of Ram’s journey. A journey where spirituality intertwines with history. Visit Ram Janmabhoomi, the sacred birthplace of Lord Ram.

Tour highlights:
Delhi / Ayodhya by air. Be met on arrival at the airport, and be transferred by private car to your accommodation at the Praveg Tent City Brahma Kund. These are premium air conditioned tents, and are at a walking distance from the temples.

Visit Hanuman Garhi, a famous 10th century temple of Lord Hanuman, protector of Shree Ram as well as Ayodhya. There is a stiff 76-step haul up to reach the second most important site in Ayodhya. It is a tradition that before visiting Ram temple one should visit this important site. Hanuman’s mother Anjani lives in the temple with young Hanuman sitting in her lap.

Ram Ki Paidi is a series of ghats on the banks of the Saryu River. A large number of pilgrims come every day to take a holy dip in the sacred Saryu waters. In the story of the Ramayana, a sacred Hindu text, the river Saryu flows through Ayodhya. The description of Shri Ram traveling by boat through this river from Ayodhya to its confluence with Ganga, while going for education to the sage Vishwamitra is found in the Bal Kanda of Ramayana. Walk along the river and soak in its history and spirituality.

Kanak Bhawan the palace, was gifted by Raja Dashrath’s queen Kaikeyi, to her daughter-in-law Devi Sita, the wife of Lord Ram.  With the passage of time it was converted into a temple. Katha ( story telling ) is held in this temple or court of Ram, on the epic poem, the Ramcharitmanas of Tulsidas. A delightful treat indeed!

Proceed to Dashrath Mahal where Ram & his siblings spent their childhood.  Then Sugriva Kila, an ancient fort, which is believed to have been gifted to King Sugreev by Lord Ram, when he returned back to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile.

Walk along the River Saryu and visit other little, old, temples. After all, this is a Temple Town. Go around the entire boundary of the Ram Janmabhoomi!
