Day 01
GARJIYA DEVI TEMPLE
Arrive at Ramnagar by lunch time and check into your accommodation. Post lunch, you can go for a small hike to the Garjiya Devi temple on the banks of Kosi River. In the evening, rest and sleep early as you need to leave the next morning for safari.
Car: The town Ramnagar is 15 km from Corbett National Park and has a very good road network that connects it with different cities of India. The road from Delhi to Jim Corbett National Park is scenic and the drive is beautiful. Start from Delhi as early as possible to avoid city traffic.
Airport: The closest domestic airport is 156 km away at Dehradun.
Day 2
CORBETT NATIONAL PARK & CORBETT MUSEUM
Wake up early for an exciting jeep safari in the Bijrani/Jhirna Zone of Corbett National Park. The park is host to over 600 species of animals, including the famous royal Bengal tiger, elephants and many more. Return to accommodation at lunch. Post lunch, drive to the famous Corbett Museum. Return to the property in the evening. Take rest.
Car: The Corbett Museum is around 30 km from the Corbett National Park and the same from Ramnagar. The Nainital Road offers a smooth 30-minute drive and the museum comes up on the right.
Day 03
COSITABANI & CORBETT FALLS
Wake up early for a session of birdwatching alongside the Kosi River. Post breakfast, you can drive to the popular Corbett Waterfall. Post lunch, drive to the gates of the Sitabani Jungle range for another jeep safari. Located at an approximate distance of 10 km from Ramnagar, Sitabani is a forest area but not a part of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Return to the property by evening.
Car: There are several spots around Ramnagar, where one can enjoy watching native and migratory birds, which arrive in winter. Mangoli Valley, around 45 km away, is a good spot. Dhikhuli village, just 10 km away from Ramnagar, is also a tranquil spot to watch birds. Walk along the Loha Pul (Iron Bridge) over the Kosi River for amazing views. It’s most convenient for driving to these spots.
Day 04
Wake up leisurely to pack your memories, and depart, to return to Delhi or towards your onward destination.
