Tour to Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur: India
Day 1: Pick up from Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Delhi. The day will be at leisure after an international flight to unwind and relax in. Visit a nearby market for lunch or a stroll.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Agra by a Toyota Crysta car or similar. The distance is 232 kms and the journey time is 3 hrs and 55 mins. Check into the hotel Howard Plaza The Fern or similar 4-star hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Visit the upmarket
Sadar Bazar where you may stroll along its shop-lined avenue. Try tasty chaat (spiced savouries) at its famous chaat gali. Have dinner at a select restaurant in the area. Be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3:: 0545 hrs pick up from the hotel for the Sunrise Taj Mahal visit. The guide will contact you beforehand and will also accompany you inside the Taj.
0900 hrs. Transfer to Agra Fort.
1100 hrs. Free time for breakfast / leisure.
1300 hrs. Visit the Wildlife SOS Agra Bear Rescue Facility which is home to around 100 sloth bears that were rescued from the brutal practice of bear dancing. The kalandar gypsies that depended on exploiting these bears were established in alternative livelihoods by Wildlife SOS to ensure the safety of the bears and a legal way of life for the community. The distance is about 30 kms from the Agra Fort and the travel time is about one hour depending on the traffic. The facility opens daily and it meets animal welfare guidelines. The duration of the visit would be one to two hours.
This center is run entirely from Donations raised by Wildlife SOS. The Forest Department charges an Admission of Rs 500 for Foreign Nationals and Rs 50 for Indians. Wildlife SOS offers an educational visit combined with interaction with bear experts.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 4: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and be transferred by road to Fatehpur Sikri which is about 45 minutes away and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built by Emperor Akbar in 1571 to honor the Sufi saint Salim Chishti and is renowned for its well-preserved red sandstone Indo-Islamic architecture. This “ghost city” served as the Mughal capital for nearly a decade.
Carry on to Jaipur, a distance of 206 kms with a journey time of about 3 hrs and 37 mins. Check in at the Vesta International or similar 4-star hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 5: After breakfast, pick up for sightseeing starting at the Amber Fort followed by a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the local bazaars. Be accompanied by a guide. Bapu Bazaar, Johari Bazaar and Tripolia Bazaar are known for their handmade suits, cotton wear and traditional Rajasthani accessories.
Suggested place for lunch: Barbeque Nation, Tonk Road, Jaipur for Indian cuisine and barbecue.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: After breakfast, visit some historical sites which blend Rajput and Mughal styles. The City Palace, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, and Nahargarh Fort showcase a fusion of both the styles. Be accompanied by a guide. Suggested place for lunch: Hawk View Restaurant and Bar ( Indian / Bar ) or the Karma Kasuri restaurant which is vegetarian friendly, has vegan and gluten free options. They accept credit cards.
In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to take a flight to Udaipur leaving at 10:25 a.m and reaching by 1125 a.m. Be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
In the evening, visit Lake Pichola a man-made lake, and walk alongside it to observe the full majesty of the lakeside buildings around it. In case there is no rush, a boat may also be hired on the spot. On the banks are many ghats, temples, palaces and restaurants.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8: In Udaipur: After breakfast, car pick-up along with a guide to visit Bagore Ki Haveli. Suggested place for lunch: Khamma Ghani Restaurant
Next, visit the Ambrai Ghat which has a boating area.
In the evening, visit the Virasat – Rajasthani Folk Dance and Puppet Show.
Suggested place for dinner: Lake Shore Restaurant for Indian and European cuisine.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and visit the Shri Ekling Ji temple along with a guide. This temple opens from 04:30 a.m to 07:00 a.m, 10:30 a.m to 01:30 p.m and then from 05:00 p.m to 07:30 p.m. The temple was built in the 15th Century C.E. and is devoted to Lord Shiva. With carved pillars it also has smaller temples within it representing different gods. Photography is not permitted within the premises and there are lockers near the entrance to keep phones and valuables in.
For lunch: The Udai Pavilion restaurant nearby serves Indian and Continental cuisine. It is vegetarian friendly, with vegan and gluten free options. It also accepts credit cards.
Post lunch, visit the nearby Sahasra Bahu temples. Sahasra Bahu means ‘one with thousand arms’ – a form of god Vishnu. These are a pair of 11th century intricately decorated shrines, set in a well-maintained, lush garden. The columns and the porches are lavishly decorated with hundreds of carved figures. Shoes have to be removed when entering the premises.
In the evening, transfer to Udaipur airport by 06:00 p.m to take the indigo airlines flight to Delhi leaving at 08:00 p.m and reaching at 09:20 p.m. Be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Departure from Delhi.
