Itinerary: Travel to India in March to begin the tea expedition with a visit to Darjeeling. Follow with a visit to the city of Agra, famous for Taj mahal. Travel to Vrindavan, famous for its religious places and vibrant culture. Move on to the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh for immersive experiences in yoga, followed by a wellness retreat at Dehradun. Top off the tour by staying at India’s capital, New Delhi!

Days 1 – 4: Begin your retreat in the tranquil hills of Darjeeling, renowned for its tea estates and panoramic views:



Day 1: Arrival in Delhi. To be met upon arrival and transferred to the domestic terminal to take a connecting flight to Bagdogra. Take a leisurely drive from Bagdogra airport to the Taj Resort and Spa in Makaibari. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Activities at Makaibari: Engage in morning yoga sessions with views of grand vistas. Pay a Garden Factory visit followed by local sightseeing.

Day 3: Check out from Makaibari and drive to Bagdogra airport for the flight to Delhi. To be met upon arrival at Delhi airport and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, take a half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Agra (distance is 231.7 kms/ approximate travel time is 3 hrs and 43 mins.) Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Follow this with a visit to the Taj Mahal, the eternal witness to love. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.



Days 5: Drive from Agra to Vrindavan, a distance of 69.8 kms / travel time about 1 hr and 23 mins. Check – in to the hotel. You may visit the Banke Bihari temple for the evening Aarti.

Day 6: Dive into the cultural activities and immense joy during the colorful and vibrant festival of Holi. Vrindavan is famous for its Lathmaar Holi, where young ladies playfully beat the men while people cheer, throw colors and dance on local music in the background.



Days 7-9: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive from Vrindavan to Dehradun (distance 379 kms/ travel time about 6 hrs 19 mins.) Upon arrival, check in at The Six Senses Vana resort. Here, Ayurveda, Yoga, Tibetan Medicine and Natural Healing therapies are on offer along with a kind-hearted team and personalized support. Spend three nights here.



Days 10 – 11: Visit Rishikesh and stay at the Aloha On The Ganges resort or similar. Inclusions at the Aloha are in-house live music- Flute/Keyboard player, morning nature walks/yoga sessions, evening Ganga aarti on daily basis. Welcome drink on arrival and free Wi-Fi.


Day 12 : Come to the capital of India, Delhi. Overnight stay.


Day 13: Proceed as per the program.
